Dead Rock Star Halloween Decorations and Party Supplies
Since your guests will be expecting a party worthy of their celebrity status, their entrance should be all about hype and flash. Roll out the red carpet for your guests (literally), from the front entryway, down the sidewalk. If you can, rent a "velvet rope" to place at the doorway. You know, the kind outside of exclusive clubs that keep out the riffraff. Set the mood with black lights. In addition, string glow in the dark skeletons everywhere.

Create your own tombstones at your entryway. You can customize them by using real data on dead rock stars.

A life-sized cutout of the ghost of Elvis back from the grave is perfect on any empty wall you have, or place it behind the buffet or bar. Use it as a photo op for guests. Everyone will love having their picture taken with the King. 

Make your living room into a concert stage by setting up a strobe light and a fog machine (pyrotechnics are probably not a good idea...) Set a few inflatable guitars around, they give a new meaning to "air guitar". At least these will be hard to smash! Local music stores are great places to find authentic decorations. Scatter guitar picks and drumsticks (both are inexpensive) on side tables and any flat surface that need a little decoration.

Make sure your table is dark and has lots of attitude. As centerpieces, use black vases with bloody rose bouquets. Sprinkle star confetti (DEAD rock STAR, get it?) on the tables.

Partying like a rock star is all about the booze, so at each place setting put out beer with a personalized beer bottle label.  Set the table with skull paper goods, they are rock star chic and clean up easier than a lead singer in rehab.
